STAPI's partnership with Bharat Vikas Group (BVG), as a capacity building partner was initiated in 2011-2012.
STAPI as a “Nodal Agency” was entrusted training and placement provider of BPL Youth between the age group of 18 - 35 from rural areas as per the data of District Rural Development Agency (DARA), Panchayat Samiti & Gram Panchayats, in health care sector for the State of Maharashtra, for the project tenure February 2012 - June 2013.
STAPI through its 09 partner NGOs was involved in mobilization, counseling, training and placement of the BPL youth in health care sector, as per criteria of MoRD's special SGSY scheme.
The 1 & 1/2 months training included classroom and hands-on training in hospitals. After the training, the candidates were attached at work site as an “Apprentice”.
A total of 573 BPL Youth from 8 districts of Maharashtra were trained in 19 residential batches by our 9 partner NGOs from 8 districts of Maharashtra during 2011-2013.
The project intervention provided placement to 363 BPL Youth from 08 districts of Maharashtra.
National Digital Literacy Mission Project with the financial support of Mphasis and technical support of NASSCOM Foundation was approved for the period December 2015 - 2016.
The project activities includes 20 days / 20 hours training followed by assessment / screening by NASSCOM and conduct of online exams.
The community mobilization activities like Conduct of Baseline Survey, Meeting with Stakeholders (Aanagawadi Sevika, Local Influential Individuals, local NGOs, SHG’s, Tanshika Groups, Yuvak Mandals, Mahila Mandals) Advocacy meetings with PMC Officials were conducted in different locations of Mundhawa area of Pune City during the period under report.
The trainees were also provided with get certificate of participation on successful completion of the NDLM course.
The NDLM Centre at Mundhawa is fully functional since 09/02/2016. A total of 123 candidates were enrolled during February and March 2016.
NASSCOM –Zensar – Community Development Center (CDC) Project
Zensar is implementing various community based initiatives through its CDC Centre. The Digital Literacy has been the CSR initiative of Zensar. NASSCOM approved Second NDLM Partnership in Ambedkar Vasti of Chandan Nagar, Pune with the financial support of Zensar and technical support of NASSCOM Foundation, for the period March 2016- February 2017.
The project activities will commence in 2016-2017.
NASSCOM –Zensar – Digital Bus Project
NASSCOM approved a third NDLM Partnership under National Digital Literacy Mission with the financial support of Zensar and technical support of NASSCOM Foundation, for the period March 2016- February 2017.
The project is about to educate communities in computer literacy at Ramwadi area. The age criteria and the curriculum is same across all the NDLM Centres. The project activities will commence in 2016-2017.

Project Garima – Community Development Partnership Project
A total of 95 youth were trained as hygiene technician in four non- residential training batches of 6 days duration organized at Mumbai and Pune with the support of Sealed Air and in association with United Way Mumbai
National Digital Literacy Mission Project with financial support of Mphasis and technical support of NASSCOM Foundation came to an end in February 2018. A total of 1688 trainees were trained and enrolled during April 2017- February 2018.
Project “GARIMA” – A CSR Partnership Project supported by Sealed Air in association with United Way Mumbai
A community development partnership through Project Garima – Hygiene Technician Skilling Programme, aiming at conduct of skill training for youth in marginalized communities and to assist them with job placements was implemented with the support of Sealed Air and in association with United Way of Mumbai. We have trained 150 youth in the age group of 18-35 through conduct of 06 duration at Mumbai and Pune during 2016-2018.
