Poor Man
“I will give a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt or
when the self becomes too much with you, apply the
following test: Recall the face of the poorest and
weakest man who you may have seen and ask yourself if
the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to
him. Will he gain anything by it? Will it restore him
with a control over his own life and destiny? In other
words, will it lead to swaraj for the hungry and
spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your
doubt and yourself melting away”
Customer
A Customer is the most important visitor on our
premises.
He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him.
He is not an interruption to our work. He is the purpose
of it.
We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is
doing is a favour by giving us an opportunity to do so.
